MAPAL Inc. PCD Tools Lead the Industry

MAPAL's comprehensive PCD tool line includes:
End milling, face milling, gun boring, and circular milling, reaming and fine boring. Here you will find our Standard Program of drilling, end milling and face milling products.
The PCD tool product group has more than 500 people worldwide dedicated to it and is one of the most important divisions of the MAPAL group. As a world leader and one of the world's largest suppliers of industrial diamond tooling, MAPAL can react quickly and with great flexibility to customer requirements, while ensuring the same high technical standards are always provided. This means the customer receives the best solutions and designs anywhere in the US, Europe or Asia.

PCD End Mills
The intention for the standard end mill program is to offer the most important and common elements. The standard HP-EndMill program is divided into five sections. With production tolerances less than or equal to 5 micons for radial and axial run out, you can expect consistent high quality and performance.
Special end milling cutters designed specifically for an application can also be supplied in the shortest possible time.
| Type 50 | |
| The smallest one, designed for intricate milling tasks, e.g. in precision mechanics of manufacturing printed circuit boards. | |
| Type 51 | |
| The universal genius in the end milling program. All tools have a blade up to the center, which means that axial milling can also be accomplished. The application range extends from contour milling (also for GRP an CRP) to slot milling work and deburring on cast aluminium parts. | |
| Type 52 | |
| Not just of interest to form designers. These ball nose end mills are characterized by hign accuracy on the form of the full radius. Extremely quiet running - not just in the HSC area. | |
| Type 53 | |
| The high performance group! Specially designed for high operating parameters with high feed rates. Machining of closed pockets by plunge milling into the workpiece is possible without reducing the feed rate. | |
| Type 57 | |
| This is a high material removal rate cutter with cylindrical shank or with HSK 63, ISO' 40 shank. The spirally arranged rows of cutting edges are best suited for high volume cutting, e.g. for integral components. This is the perfect end mill design for applying the available drive power to cut large volumes of material. | |
| Face Milling | |
| Ideal for stock removal rates, defined surface uniformilty or special requirements for a flat surface on the workpiece component. No matter what requirements - the MAPAL series of face milling heads offer the solution; | |

PowerMill Series |
| This is the classic among all of the milling heads. The milling cartidges (four different standard types) are regrindable and allow a cutting depth up to a maximum of 4mm. With an Aluminium tool body to reduce the weight with replaceable swarf protection plates to ensure a long life for the aluminium body. The locking screws and the high balanced tools allow reliable use in HSC operations. | |

EcoMill Series |
| The new dimension in face milling for HSC operations. The main application for these tools is finishing with a maximum cutting depth up to 2mm. Replaceable - not regrindable - milling cartridges reduce the logistic costs. The new arrangemnt of milling blades with a precision dovetail guide offers unparalleled performance and security during high speed machining centrifugal forces. The EcoMill series is notable for extreamely quiet running with high feed rates. | |

HP-FaceMill |
| The perfect solution for face milling operations with high allowances. Impressive cutting depths up to 10mm are possible with this style of facemill. The ability to increase the maximum number of teeth enables this tool to achieve high feed rates. The massive body absorbs vibrations that may occur during machining caused by the component or lack of rigidity. For macines with low spindle speeds, this is the perfect choice. | |
